This is a photo from last year’s Ami Montessori conference. I was so disgusted by attending this conference (which my school paid for) that I began to disassociate myself from AMI as an organization. From what I have heard, this year’s conference was even worse. Every single session I attended last year started out by apologizing to first peoples for stealing their land and then focused on CRT. I love my Montessori training, but this is not a path I am willing to support.
Join me for Montessori-inspired lesson plans and ideas to challenge young readers with phonetic books. I will show different ways you can use phonetic books to assess if your child is reading or simply memorizing these booklets. These lesson will help your young reader think critically with simple phonetic booklets.
